Unfortunately we were not allowed to transfer existing payment information and accounts to the new system because of privacy legislation. You can continue your Subbacultcha membership by resubscribing for a digital membership via the 'become a member' link.
The new system works with an activation payment for the first 3 months. The amount you are billed for your first payment covers the first 3 months of your membership (or 12 months if you become a Devoted Member). Your monthly payments will start after 3 months. The old payment method won't be used anymore.
Essentially yes. If you don’t own a smartphone yourself you can easily login to your personal account and generate your membership card via the phone of a friend.
Essentially yes. If you don’t have access to mobile data on your phone and the venue doesn’t provide free WIFI you’ll have to generate your membership card at home before you leave for the event. Don't forget to keep the browser window open so the page doesn't automatically refreshes when you reopen your browser. Membership cards are available to generate from 8AM on the day of the event.
No. Screenshots are not considered as valid entry tickets and won't be accepted by our partners. Your membership card needs to have the animated Subbacultcha logo, your card isn't valid without it.
Membership cards are only available to generate on the day of the event itself. Cards are made accessible at 8AM each day.

Subbacultcha Belgium does no longer issue physical membership cards. You can access your digital membership card through your Subbacultcha profile by logging into the site via your mobile device.
Your membership starts as soon as you have completed the sign-up flow and have confirmed your email. It might take a few minutes before you receive the confirmation mail (check your SPAM folder if you haven't received it after 10 minutes).
When you register for either a Digital Only or a Standard subscription you agree to be a member for a minimum of 3 full calendar months. Devoted Member subscribers engage themselves for a year.

A membership will automatically be cancelled if you had a membership before the digitalisation and you won't or can't make the transition to the new version.
98% of our shows don't sell out. However, certain events do sell out more quickly than expected. In these cases, the policy is first come, first served, and members do not receive priority.

As a member, you don't need to make a reservation for a show unless it's specifically mentioned in the online event listing. As a general rule, you should just show up on time and show your membership pass + ID to gain entrance.
No. We send our tote bags and monthly magazines with bpost. The shipping cost is included in your membership fee.
Unfortunately not. But thanks to a great team of volunteers, our magazine gets distributed all over Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp, Bruges, Hasselt, … You can probably pick up a free copy in your local coffee shop.
Unfortunately not. We make tote bags to give to our new members as a welcome gift.
Yes, but only if you have a Standard or a Devoted Member subscription. The magazine will also still be distributed in more than 500 different locations all over Belgium!
