Moving Ballads

As a way to better understand the relationship between pop music and contemporary dance, Femke Gyselinck got inspired by the Canadian artist Joni Mitchell. Using her lyricism and sounds as a starting point, four performers explore the link between words and movement, creating a special place for imaginative improvisation. The music was composed by Hendrik Lasure, who embodies the rich oeuvre of Joni Mitchell.
