Festival Voix De Femmes presents Michelle Blades + Las Lloronas

No reservation is required. Members can just show their smartphone and ID at the ticket office to get free access.

Festival Voix De Femmes is a multidisciplinary event that takes place every two years since 1991. The festival promotes the work of female (those who identify as) artists in all shapes and forms (music, cinema, performances, workshops, expos, theatre, litterature, dance, & more!).

Michelle Blades
Michelle Blades' latest EP, Nombrar Las Cosas, a U-turn to her Panamanian and Mexican roots, was released in 2020 on Mignight Special Records. Blades wrote and composed the entire album, played most of the instrumentals and did all the arrangements. A gem in which we find all the singularity and diversity of Blades' universe: garage vibes here, poetry and ballads there, grace and talent everywhere.

Las Lloronas
Influenced by (amongst others) Lhasa de Sela and Noname, the members of Las Lloronas are united by their passion for sociology, activism and art. At the crossroads of different musical practices and traditions: traditional Spanish music, polyphony, klezmer sounds, fado, ... their repertoire oscillates between lamentation, reverie and war cry. With their first album, Soaked, they tackle political and intimate themes.
