Louise Souvagie expresses her love for Leonard Bernstein
Eartheater surely pushes the boundaries and gets rid of traditional musical demarcations. Originating from Queens, Alexandra Drewchin, aka Eartheater, is up to her third full-length album, titled IRISIRI. For the first time she’s released on the prolific electronic label PAN. She sublimates haunting but skilfully detailed electronics with classical instruments such as flute and violin, intertwined with her three-octave vocal range. Her voice and many vocal techniques maybe stand out the most. She kind of just does it all; she moans and raps, she croons and chants.
