New names on the Different Class lineup 🍬

Summer is almost here, you know what that means! Subbacultcha is presenting the 11th edition of Different Class on the 6th of August.

Since 2012, each summer has marked a time for the Subbacultcha community to celebrate with some of our favourite talents. Through thick and thin we worked to provide you with one of the most exciting Summer festivals in Belgium every year. Lucky for you, on August 6, we are back, and the meeting place for friends and performers is KASK & Conservatory in Ghent! Our annual festival bringing you today’s most exciting artists, we organised a lineup of trailblazing acts we know you’ll love. And we have some new names for you as a treat.

Kate NV

Moscow based singer-songwriter and producer Kate Shilonosova finds her solo persona as Kate NV finds the inspiration for her electronic pop sound from cartoons, art, and classical music. Her debut Pink Jungle EP was followed by the frenetic pop-leaning Binasu released by Orange Milk in 2016 and the minimalist exploration of для FOR released by RVNG in 2018.

Sassy009

Sunniva Lindgård, or Sassy009 is a hallucinogenic pop musician from Oslo. Through her more recent projects, including Kill Sassy 009 in 2019 and Heart Ego in 2021, the artist has taken her listeners through an audio exploration of re-imagined techno, breathy Scandi-pop and hyper R&B.

Paul Seul b2b Krampf

Parisian DJs and producers Paul Seul and Krampf are taking over the stage. Co-founder of collective Casual Gabberz, Paul Seul is known for hard techno Gabber sounds, while Krampf has been remixing and arranging a wide variety of projects for over a decade.

Raviolli

Ravioli is a solo project by Lo-Lee-Ta’s guitar player Luca Fazioli and just released a cassette tape on the local record label Sense Diver. Dreamy strumming and improvised loops wrapped up into an al dente ambient sound.

Tamqrant

Tamqrant is focused on oral + literary history of Amazigh women and explores the plurality of Tamazight languages through music and sound.

aka.miki

Tied to local collectives such as Grid and Nooit Meer Naar Huis, aka.miki is a versatile and critical selector with a strong UK-influenced and bass-heavy sound.
