20-something part 1
Strange times today, we know. So many of the terms floating around at the moment have sent positive vibing on a serious hiatus: solitary confinement, lockdown, social distancing...you could make a damn depressing martini out of them - with no olives, though, because the supermarket’s run out. And yet, even as days blur by without the external validation that turn memories into placeholders for the time elapsed, we do indeed plod on. Fresh minds never get confined, and dreams are luckily not bound to the physical jails we strive to keep healthy and, crucially at the moment, separated. None of today’s and (possibly, probably) tomorrow’s delimitations can hold down the nascent worlds of future fancies. Whether they be tangible or imagined, corporeal or immaterial, they are happening and they are very real. Anywho, meet the young hopefuls bringing new life to a decaying order; may their future be a shared one, whether it be within the limits of the physical world we’re bound to, or deep into the infinite abyss of the immaterial portals we’ve been commiserating in for weeks past and days to still come.
