At the heart of Subbacultcha you'll find our membership
Together with our ever-growing community we're supporting boundary-pushing artists and initiatives in Belgium and beyond. Subbacultcha gives them the audience they deserve from the start by providing an affordable membership to like-minded music and art enthousiasts. Members get access to concerts, parties, exhibitions and performances at more than 50 venues in 5 cities.
As a member you become a part of a custom made family, which doubles as a stage and a meeting place. It's the perfect platform to hear new music first-hand, hang with interesting people and witness new developments from the front row. In our monthly magazine we collect the stories of the Subbacultcha community, as well as the backstories of our events, making sure you're always up to date with what's current in the Subbacultcha universe.
We work together CLOSELY with these great venues AND organisations

Vooruit, Democrazy, In De Ruimte, KASKcinema + more
Het Bos, De Studio, deSingel, Antwerp Art Weekend + more

Subbacultcha is an independent subscription model devoted to emerging music and art, founded in 2005 in Amsterdam and launched in 2011 in Belgium by Kasper-Jan and Herlinde Raeman. Members get access to a list of concerts and events, our magazine and a canvas bag designed by a local artist. Subbacultcha members form our community that makes everything happen. With their precious input, we get to promote the music and art that we all love. They enable us to put together a great event calendar, make magazines, organise our own shows and so much more.
We couldn't accomplish half of what we do without our team. Invaluable is an understatement. You can find our direct contacts below but please do not submit your work here, there's a form specially made for this. Applications for internships and CV's can be sent this way. We are friendly people (we just deal with a lot of mail). <3
A heartfelt thank you to: Gerlin Heestermans, Ruud Vanmoorleghem, Hendrik Dacquin, Tom Palmaerts, Valentine Raeman, Laura-Andréa Callewaert, Emma Raymaekers, Gabriela González, our distributors, writers, photographers, interns & volunteers.
