Will we or won’t we have the Indian summer we all deserve? The weather deities seem undecided. One thing is for sure: September is definitely bringing the heat and shaping up to become one of the better months of the year event wise. WHERE HOUSE’s Tim Vandewalle took some time away from putting the final touches to their upcoming Hardcore Special at Ampere to give you a rundown of the 5 events you should consider paying a visit to in September. Vamos!

WHERE HOUSE has always been an undercover gabber fest, we’ve always pushed the boundaries between techno and hardcore. Now we’re coming out in our true form with a hardcore special to open the new season. Buzz Fuzz is one of the founding fathers and the Casual Gabberz collective ignited a new wave of energy within the gabber genre.
Meakusma festival has made it on my “I’m interested” agenda for years, but I’ve never found the time to actually go. This year I’m finally making my way down to Eupen after Where House. The line-up is absolute genius and I’ve only ever heard great things about the previous editions of the festival. Mass events haven’t been my thing for a while now, so Meakusma is a must.
Horst brought the heat with relevant lineups and challenging festival design from day one; and they’re not disappointing this year either. Especially the first day of the festival features a few of my favourite artists: Ceephax live, Mad Miran, Objekt and Belgian pride Nosedrip and Victor De Roo. Not that the other two days aren’t worth your visit! Seems like the Belgian festival season is only starting to get good in September.
No explanation needed. Essential on everyone’s September agenda. Anyone who doesn’t participate, contribute or gets involved in this battle doesn’t deserve their right to party.
The gentlemen from RIMBU have been serving you the heaviest techno at Kompass for quite some time now. They don’t joke around: every edition has been a conceptual and productional masterpiece. It has been a while since I’ve been to Kompass, but for Randomer I’ll gladly hop on the train. And because I’m opening the night I don’t really have much of a choice of course! Nothing but love for the best techno crew of the country.
