We confirmed the Belgian trance legend for a DJ set at The Sound Of The Belgian Underground
Brace yourselves, hip-hop lovers. BOZAR has cooked up a summer exhibition paying tribute to 35 years of hip-hop culture in Brussels, from its origins and evolution to its current scene. Divided into four central pillars of hip-hop culture – rap music, breakdance, graffiti and DJ-ing – the exhibition features a handful of archives, including photos, videos projections, original documents, but also graffiti workshops, artist talks and dance battles. Thanks to the help of youth clubs and neighbourhood centres in the event organisation, an ‘urban programme’ is emerging all around Brussels, so expect more of that good stuff to come.
