Don't miss out on the last hurrah of HORST Arts & Music Festival
The Odd Hour Cinema collects the most fascinating single-channel pieces of Belgian artist Anouk De Clercq. In her work she uses the audiovisual potential of computer-generated images to imagine possible worlds, many of which strongly reflect architectural practices. Existing buildings such as the Concertgebouw in Bruges and imaginary buildings are dissected, and the allegorical tension between inside and outside and immensity and intimacy are investigated. Other works focus on the swan song of fading pixels, extraterrestrial contact beyond time and space and conducting the movement of clouds.
